1. He is, therefore I am.

    Lord, you are good.

    Your love endures forever, in all circumstances,

    so I have set my heart on being content whatever circumstance may bring.

    You do not abandon the works of your hands,

    and all that you do has a purpose-

    a divine and inexorable purpose that you will accomplish.

    Your being is the constant that undergirds all existence;

    You are there.

    In you I live and move and have my being;

    In you I find love, transcending life itself, and unlike anything I will find in this world.

    There is no place I’d rather be than here in your love-

    and here I shall be,

    and you shall be,

    from this day,

    onward,

    and into the final and eternal embrace of heaven.

    Amen.
